What is MCBOC?

• This is a one-day conference with 6 sessions focusing on Minnesota-China business opportunities, education, networking as well as business policies

• Speakers including Chinese business practitioners, Alumnus, Professors, and students.

• Networking room is available all day for both attendees and speakers.

Why are we doing this?

• Minnesota and China have a long history of business and culture exchange. CSB/SJU has developed a variety of relationships with people across China for at least 25 years. Currently, with the growing impact of China related programs at CSB/SJU, there is an increasing need for a way to improve the knowledge about China among CSB/SJU students.

Why China?

• In 2009, China became the 2nd largest trading partner of the United States. The United States and China have become the two largest economics entities in the world.

Why CSB/SJU?

• CSB/SJU has curriculum emphasizes on globalization.
• Over 100 students from China are attending CSB/SJU.
• There is a increasing interests in China related programs among students at

CSB/SJU

Our Goals

The conference will:
• Improve students’ knowledge about China current
• Inform students about fundamental business or other China related

opportunities.
• Increase China Study-Abroad Program interests and participation • Raise Student business/work interest in China
• Provide China Program Information Package to all interested

Our Vision

• In the future, the conference will become the medium to develop a MN-wide network of students focusing on China-Minnesota business interests.
